Can you guys send me some pictures of how does spiral grain, wavy, curly, interlocked grain ,sap veins ,shakes cross grain, hard knots, pin knot clusters spike knots, pitch pockets , mineral streaks compression wood etc...........looks like? I will start looking for douglas fir wood for my aircraft project for here in portland oregon there is plenty of it and other woods.
