Hello eveyone,
Just sending word out there that I am currently building a Champion V
(Asso V) from a set of drawings purchased from the late Gene Littner. The
fuselage, stabilizer, elevator and rudder woodwork are complete.Main, aileron
and flap spars are also complete as well as all the wing ribs.Within the next
few weeks I will be begin assembling the wings in a vertical wing jig.The
landing gear and control stick yoke are out being welded. This is an exciting
phase of construction as the various sub-assemblies are starting(finally) to
come together. So anyone building this beautiful design,we can hopefully share some tips together.
