I finally got in a couple of flights yesterday with the canopy installed. What a wonderfull difference!

My little home made windshield was just not doing a good job at all. I had a bunch of turbulence and noise right by my head. And the concern it would break. If it had been properly designed and thicker plastic, it might have been ok but it is gone now and good ridance.

With the canopy, I can actually relax and look around in cruse and see a lot better when landing.

I saw a friend flying his new plane just a little below and ahead of me. So I pushed over to 160mph to catch up with him, a very nice difference from before. I eased by on his right and waved. Later after we landed, we both thought our planes looked pretty good in flight. His is a Swift in polished aluminum.

Best wishes,
Wally
