I am currently building a Hummelbird. I had started to build an RV-6A, until my wife said she wouldn't get into a home made aircraft. I may still build the RV, or buy a used Piper, but I am still going to finish my Hummelbird for those afternoon flights of fancy, not to mention solitude! It isn't always about getting from point A to B as my wife likes it.
I also get tired of watching the hobbs in the rented aircraft while on a trip. Homebuilts are the way to go. Good luck to everyone.- Don Jacobson, building in CT.
