Is there anyone here doing WWI fighter planes??? I'm talking full scale reproductions. I know that one can find builders of WWI aircraft on www.theaerodrome.com/forum but I was wondering if there are any builders here.

Also... does anyone ever use automotive engines in their homebuilts??? Specifically, I am interested in inline 6 cylinder engine applications. What type of modifications would be necessary to utilize a computerized fuel injected 6 cyl, like say an aluminum BMW? I know that a PSRU would be needed to run at the proper RPM range, but what else would be necessary??? And for arguments sake, lets not confuse the issue, lets keep the engine mounted upright instead of inverted.

Any and all thoughts and comments are welcome. I look forward to see what has to be said.

Thanks
