thickening a 6-series airfoil

Can a 6-sries airfoil be thickened by increasing @ co-ordinate by the % change in thickness? IE: 21% to a 24% is a 14.28% increase in thickness, so will multipling @ Y co-ordinate by .1428 yield an accurately thicker foil, or will the form be lost? [NOTE: the UIUI site doesn't list the thickness of some airfoils I want.
