Came across this wonderful series of videos on YouTube about a little airfield in Beaverton,Oregon which opened in 1928.Features voice recorded interviews of the airman, airgals, and people involved with the field.Whole thing took shape by pioneer aviator Charles Bernard. Many wonderful civilian and homebuilt aircraft featured and talked about such as the Heath Parasol,Mignet Pou-du-Ciel,Henderson Longster,Curtis Pusher,Primary gliders, ect. Many great stories and some trials recounted by them.I will post more as I go along.Enjoy!
