Just wonder how many kit manufacturers actually do scientific flutter testing of their airframes?
Or, do they employ the time tested technique of "control excitation mode"? That is, taking the aircraft to altitude, get going fast, maybe up to Vmo, then aggressively slap the stick back and forth, side to side, to attempt to induce flutter.
The T-51 was tested in this manner. With negative results I'm happy to report.
