On-line references for HBA designers, builders and enthuasists

This thread is intended to be a repository for useful on-line references that HBA'ers might find useful in a manner similar to the closed thread found here: http://www.homebuiltairplanes.com/fo...ead.php?t=8950

A resource that covers many of the fundamentals of the physics of flight can be found at https://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/K-12/airplane/bga.html

    One level up is http://www.princeton.edu/~stengel/MAE331.html

There is much useful information that can be found at the link's, including definitions that could make discussions here more efficient.

    Please add your links.

Here are a few essentials, just to get this thread going. Thanks, BJC!

The NASA Technical Reports Server (has both NASA and NACA reports):
    https://ntrs.nasa.gov/

    The UIUC airfoil coordinates database:

the Magic NACA Archive. Lots of interesting older papers, including some that aren't on NTRS and even some that are not from NACA, as I recall:

West Coast Piet is an oldie but goody. It's slanted towards Piet builders but it still lots of good reference material. ANC-5, ANC-18, ANC-19, Summerill Tubing Data, etc...

    Don't forget http://www.airfoiltools.com/

They get their data from the UIUC database, but allow you to compare airfoils. Tailored for scale models, though, as the highest Reynolds number they plot is 1000000.

Also Google books has some free ebooks. A bit dated, coming from the 1920's and 1930's, but still useful
