I don't believe it. The best designed sailplanes don't even get that high, do they? And this does not include engine cooling or landing gear.

This is from my XFLR5 virtual wind tunnel.

Although I haven't gone to great effort to reduce drag, I am using an elliptical cross section pod and am getting some induced thrust off the wing center section---another thing I don't quite believe..
