Is the idea to construct a replacement engine case/propeller reduction housing out of composite materials for a GY6 type engine and also the reduction gear webbing feasible? Can it be done for a reasonable cost? For other or another better suited engine(s)?

There are quality aftermarket crank, cylinder, head and component assembly's available for the GY6 engines they would benefit from an aviation oriented case and reduction gearing.
