Hello All,
I did a quick search and didn't see any threads on the new 2 place from Belite. they have been unveiling it on FB, with the price and details due out at Sebring. The owner of Belite, James Weibe, says of the plane:

"Here's an upcoming potential 2 place aircraft from Belite. Quick facts: Empty weight 350 pounds; gross 800. 60 to 65 HP gasoline engine. Should be a great short field performer! 18' 4" long; 31' wingspan. Prototype being built now. Inexpensive kit with a super-quick build time. Expected top speed: about 100 mph, with a 90mph cruise. Ailerons, not draggy flaperons. Looks like a perfect J3 Cub in a side by side efficient format! If you are interested, we'll pursue and provide more information. For perspective, the aircraft in the attached CAD pictures has a 62" prop.

James has spent perhaps 8 years thinking about a two seat airplane and never wanted to do it unless he could make a real impact in the experimental marketplace. This leverages every high strength, easy build, low cost technique he has run across in his studies."

The wings will be removable and I think I read that it is basically designed with the HKS 700e engine in mind. This is pretty much exactly what I am looking for, so it is perfect timing for me. Here are a few pics I pinched from their FB page:

So what do all you sages think?

Thanks,
Ward
