I am building a BD-6 and planning to power it with a 80 hp Rotax. I have tried to put the radiator in the front of the cowl but there is no room or the inlet and outlet hoses get in the way. I am now considering it on the firewall and ducting ram air to it. The radiator is the standard 6x16 inch sold by Rotax. this is the old style. my question is:
1 will it work
2 how much ram air in sq. in. do I need
3 what considerations are there for exit air.

There are some other pictures posted in my builders section under BD-6

Thanks for your help. Trying to get everything under an aerodynamic cowl is making crazy
