Some of these aircraft include the CR.42, the last biplane fighter, the CR.32, the G-55, possibly one of the best fighters of WW2, and the SM.79.

My personal favorite is the Re.2005.

Since I can't figure out how to put up a poll, what's your choice to promote as a replica of a WW2 Italian aircraft?

Remember, Italian aircraft of WW2, not German, British, or US aircraft in Italian service.
