I was wondering what kind of surface is left after hot wiring blue foam? Ready for glass? Does it need sanding? I imagine it closes all the cells and that may be a good thing. I have had mixed results after glassing blue foam and purple foam, different resins, etc, and would like to know if anyone had similar results? Has anybody got a good formula for success?
I want to use a composite sandwich to make a removable covering for a tube fuse, with micro hard points.
What is your go to epoxy?
What is your go to core?
