Aft facing slot at 54 percent of chord shown as greatly increasing lift. Seems to require relatively modest power and leaves the airfoil relatively unaltered. If I recall, supplying the slot with air at dynamic pressure reduces drag in cruise, which I guess could be supplied from an air scoop of some sort, or maybe siphoned off from the cowling. The lift effect, though, requires more power. Anyway, it seems like with today's electric motors this woudln't be all that hard to set up. What am I missing?
