It's no secret a reoccurring theme here on the forum is "how to obtain a affordable aircraft".

Let's take some of the knowledgeable people here and build a scenario with a junk certified airplane on a budget. The so called "good deals".

Anybody interested? Let's show people here how creating you can be. How would you approach the problem.

Here's the scenario. You bought this C-150 fuselage for $1,000. It has no engine. No wings. No logs. You are not a A&P.

How would you bring this to life on a budget, and what would it cost? What are the steps to take?

Anybody brave enough to tackle this scenario? Curious what the final number might be.

My guess is buying a flying C-150 is cheaper than bringing back the dead. But, can it be done cheaper? How?
