Hi all,
I am trying to wrap my head around the flying squirrel wing.
It does not seem to have any compression ribs or diagonals, or internal wire bracing. It's got wood spars, foam ribs, foam skin, and a fiberglass outer skin and that's it.
How does that work?
Could the design be used for a wing like for example a Pietenpol, or a small cub, or would it need additional internal bracing?
Thanks,
Todd K.
