Our own henryk recently posted links to his idea for a low-drag pusher design.

They are here and here. I have also seen it discussed elsewhere in other old threads

If I understand the idea, it pulls air in from a radial direction, through the fan, and out the nozzle in the back.

This seems like a good way to reduce the drag compared to having a conventional prop with a blunt end fuselage.

Has anyone actually investigated this idea, other than henryk himself?

I know that ducted fans/shrouded props is a controversial topic but, really, would there be any benefit to this idea for a LSA type design compared to a conventional pusher prop?
