So, can anyone tell me:

1) Why the L/D, glide ratio, etc on a flea is so bad? Short wingspan? Low aspect ratio? Draggy nature of an open-cockpit tandem wings?
2) Apart from folding wings and simplicity, can anyone outline the primary benefits that one might use to sell the concept of the Flying Flea?
3) Which model would one recommend for a taller pilot? (I am 6'2" and when I sat in a 290/3, my knees were around my ears!)

Thanks.
