Hey, I'm debating on going a P-51 stile look on my Taylor mono. What if a person take's and build's the belly air scoop and have air release port's on each side for normal flight and drop a belly board down inside the scoop for landing's? the scoop would be cosmetic mainly other then an active cut off from air flow on the belly. Would it be too much of a drag issue with the scoop hanging out there? I don't mind losing a knot or two at cruise. My turtle deck is low profile like the 51 picturep51 mustang.jpg and I plan on adding a bubble canopy. What ya think guy's is it worth the drag? Don
