This is a video of Glenn Bradley partner of David Thatcher giving a tour of the hangar they work out of. At about 2:15 you get a quick look at the canopy vacuu-form mold. I'm wondering if someone can explain how it works? I can see what looks like a vacuum hose attachment near the bottom and I assume that the transparency is heated in an oven prior to being put into the mold but I can't see how suction would be applied?
