Well if Rotax came out of the snowmobiles...

...can a Polaris Prostar from an ATV be next? Anyone playing with one yet? I searched the forums but didn't find a reference. They come 32-100 hp. The 570cc/45hp seems like it could be a 1/2 VW alternative (pertinent to some of my design ideas.)

"the Prostar 570, a 570cc thumper that can be found across the Polaris line. Packing 45 claimed hp, Polaris says the 570 produces twin-cylinder power levels with the fuel efficiency typical of smaller singles."

Their focus on Weight, Reliability, and power density seem to parallel UL operations...but I haven't found specs. All up weight? Torque/hp/rpm?
