hello everyone,
I've been lurking on this forum for a while, however, I'm not building an aircraft.
I have been looking for information on dope and fabric covering.
I am building a Cycle Kart (adult go-kart in a 1920's/1930 style Special or Grand Grix car). The car I am building a loose replica of has a body of Dope and Fabric over a wood frame.
I am going tube frame and want to accomplish the fabric covering.
When I first started researching the subject, this forum came up more times than not on the internet searches. Since I started building the tube body frame this weekend, I figured it was time to start looking hard at the best fabric to use; non-STC, inexpensive, and light.
I hope you all don't mind a not aircraft hobby guy hanging out. it has been a long 1 years since that quick "this is Dope and Fabric, you will probably never use it" in A&P school...
