Hi,
I am a student of masters in engg.I am building a 4 rotor (quadcopter) drone for my academic project.

I want to know how to calculate thrust and lift force produced by rotor? my drone specifications are-

motor - 1200 KV brushless

propeller, 10*4.5 inch

battery- 11.1 V

approx weight of drone including all parts is 1000 gm.

As per my knowledge,

rpm = KV * V = 1200 * 11.1

= 13320 (no load)

But i guess, weight of the drone should be considered.

Also, how to select motors for my quadcopter. I tried ecalc but couldn't do it. and I want specific calculations for it.
