Hello again everyone.I know that recently I've did a thread inquiring on what Post-WWI amateur aircraft would be for me.I've gotten around on what aircraft to work on in the future and appreciated the suggestions.On the other hand I am an avid enthusiast of early gliders for the past few years.I've made some short handed attempts on making gliders since I was in 8th grade and learned along the way.I am still bit by the bug and looking to find original early gliders that are simple to build for an amateur.In short I prefer gliding.
I love the Lilienthal gliders but they seem to be a bit impractical.I've found plans for the Wright gliders but I feel too they are impractical for Ohio weather conditions (ironically).The Primary gliders look fine but don't have the proper area to fly them.With this in mind I am looking for either a monoplane or biplane sailplane or glider, small in size, wood and fabric, easy as a first build, controllable, 1910's-1920's dated, and most of all affordable.I appreciate the suggestions and help once again.
