Engineer builds French-designed airplane out of wood
Steven Reyburn, a pilot and mechanical engineer, decided to build his own airplane completely out of wood. Using plans for an Emeraude CP328, a popular French design from the 1960s, he'll have to cut every piece of wood and put together every component. "It's really one of the more difficult planes to build. It's one of the reasons I'm building it because it's a challenge," he says.

Why would this be newsworthy???
