I'm planning on a VW conversion and considering my plans call for 50-60hp min I feel I will be fine but I still have some questions.

With the ongoing HP to cyl head temp problem/debate not coming to a end anytime soon I was wondering if anyone has run modern EFI on a converted VW.

If so have they logged their EGT's and if so where did they mount the probes?I personally prefer to tune and work from EGT's along with wide band O2 sensors and while I will be within the limits of the VW I plan to push things a bit too while I'm at it.

I'm well aware of the head temp issues and limitations but I feel that monitoring egt's and a proper tune will help to keep things within check during takeoff and climb out.
