Just posting to say hi. I've always wanted to fly and am now at a point where I can somewhat afford it. I say somewhat because unless you're Kermit Weeks you probably can't afford all that you want in aviation :).

I'm not really sure what route I'm going to go to get into the air, but I'm leaning towards light sport or ultralight. Lots of lakes around here so an amphibious aircraft would be awesome to have but they appear to be somewhat rare. Also, I'd need to be able to trailer the aircraft in order to save money on storage. Does anyone know if Aerdome airplanes can be trailered and easily set up once at a flying field?

Are there any ultralight fliers around in southern MN?
