I'm a new owner of a Rocky Mountain Ridge Runner II with a Rotax 503 single carb swinging a ground adjustable prop.
The airplane and engine have less than 30 hours on them but are 8 years old. They've been hangar-kept all this time.
Both had an annual recently and the engine's been run periodically but not much. All the fuel lines and filters were replaced as a result of the annual.
What should I be looking for with this engine in terms of concerns? What should I do to make sure it's in proper running condition, given that it's sat so long with almost no use?
