Took my 37hp Hummelbird for a first flight yesterday and could only get about 70kts at 3000 rpm wot. It has a 50 inch x 34 deg prop and the recommended prop is E tip 46x36. I am looking for best cruise. Can I cut my existing prop to 46 in and any tips on doing it?
