Hello!

I read from the "Keep your eyes open" thread that a sign of independent activity is considered a good sign on behalf of a newcomer. I am a engineer (B. Sc physics thesis to be written :) ) from Estonia. Currently professinally working on plasma cleaning ovens. On the free time I like to build things and set challenges to myself. This spring I will launch a bluewater capable micro-cruiser yacht that I have built with a friend for four years (http://purjekas.planet.ee/), based on the plans of John Welsford Fafnir. Planning on sailing that across the Atlantic in a few years. Now my mind is set on an airplane, a childhood dream (accompanied with a serious R/C hobby). I'm going to take the ultralight pilot course and be done with it next summer. I will definitely build the plane myself. Eyes are on the Legal Eagle XL our double. For the time being, I am in the "educating myself" phase. That is it for the introduction. Glad to be part of a lively forum. My first question will be "Are the Legal Eagle XL plans available in metric units?" Forum search has no yield on that.

Cheers,
U.
