New here. I have decided to act on my life long dream of flying. I am 59 and I figured roughly 50 years was long enough to wait! I'm pretty sure I don't even know what I don't know! Its all very confusing but is slowly becoming more clear. I have figured out the diff between certified and experimental and I am convinced I like experimental. I have not even taken an introductory flight yet. I have been looking hard at all of this for about 2 months. I believe I would like to buy a either a Challenger2 or a CGS Hawk2. I really don't have a lotta interest in building my own because I am an OTR trucker and am gone for long periods of time so I cant just go in the garage after work every day and put in a couple of hours. I am looking at buying a used aircraft either with floats on it at purchase or putting floats on after. Living in Florida we have so many lakes and rivers and swamps and oceans!! I kinda like the Hawk better because it has flaps as well as alerions and also being desighned to survive a crash, as I understand it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
