I don't know, I have been using these antennas since 1980 but always had shielded ignition. In my VW I am using a Slick mag, shielded harness and aviation spark plugs. Dan

I use a FairBanks Morse mag with auto wires and plugs. I have never used aviation wires or plugs and not sure how I would even go about installing them or know what to purchase.

Can this mag use aviation wires? Like I said I have never dealt with these before.
