OK, while I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my structures books, I decided to draw a preliminary fuselage design for my Badger, https://www.homebuiltairplanes.com/...technology/18817-twin-boom-pusher-design.html,, and would like your input.
I am incorporating a roll cage, and I will be utilizing a wing attachment system similar to the Panther's, although the wing center section is about eight feet long.
Also, I am thinking about using the Oregon Aero High-G seats, which requires good structure underneath. In addition, the nose and bottom of the fuse will be some sort of "crush" zone, specifics not worked out yet. The lower truss sides are equidistant(about 28 inches between sides) and perpendicular to ground, while the upper portion members angle inward to meet the upper tubes(segmented longerons?), which will have about 10-12 inches spacing between either side. These will function as the top of the roll cage. Yes, entry will be "Dukes of Hazzard" style.:gig:

I would like to know if my design is way "out of wack":dead:, or if I am on the right track, just needing to size the members and fine tune?
And any other comments deemed appropriate.

"We appreciate your support."

Brett
