So, of course I know what STOL, VTOL, STOVL etc means.

So, what does ATOL mean?
I've seen it used heavily in the discussion on Low Aspect Ratio/Roadable Aircraft.
So far, I've only been able to see it possibly defined as "Amphibious Take Off and Land" but I'm not sure that this definition qualifies in the context.
