Does anyone know or remember when the FAA first implemented the "high performance" endorsement for aircraft over 200hp? I've been researching this a little bit, and I found that originally it also included what is now the complex endorsement requirements, but nothing beyond that. I'm mainly just looking for the year in which it was introduced, though if anyone knows what brought it on, that would help too.
