Mikuni pump and Briggs & Stratton set up

I would like to have your advice on the best way to set up a small Mikuni pump to the Briggs & Stratton (V2 38 CI).
We have a fuel tank which is 3 ft lower than the engine... when the fuel level is getting low the engine stops.

For weight purposes we would like to eliminate the electric fuel pump.
