I posted this earlier in help wanted but it is probably better here as it won't get lost. The Reno museum was given there 503 this year and has no funding for a project like this right now. Here is the email that went out to it's supporters.

The Reno Aviation Museum has been donated this wonderful example of a WW2 historic aircraft. It is a full scale flying reproduction of a BF-109 meticulously built over the last twenty years. It has completed it's taxi test and awaits flight testing. The owner lost his medical and wants it to go to a good home. It is currently located in Long Island, NY and needs to be trucked to Stead Airport, NV. Approximately $ 5,000 dollars is needed is disassemble and transport it.
