This conference looks very interesting: droneconference.org.
The scope of the conference includes rotorcraft, but also goes into discussions about the larger cultural/political significance of drones/UAV's in general. Especially interesting for anyone who is curious about the legal consequences of using UAV’s for commercial photography, eg: Team Blacksheep (https://droneconference.org/2013/08/team-blacksheep-rock-stars-or-rogue-operators/), the guys who produce videos like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9cSxEqKQ78) are going to be there to talk about how the FAA is trying to fine them $10,000. Very curious to see what they’ll say.
