Tube monospar ; strut braced wing and root attachment point/s ?

Just saw on REAA a post with this question bugging me for some time:
Why for even the same wing (monospar ;lift struted) some choose the pined point low ;
other at neutral axis ; some on the upper spar cap ; and some upper and lower.
On the Kolbs i've seen all of them attachments points (and is supposed to be the same wing)
I've borrowed some pics:
