Where can I find stress calculation formulas and software on the internet? I have folding wing in mind but at this point they haven't even shipped the aircraft plans to me that I am planning on building. So I don't have any interesting puzzles to show and my interest is theoretical at this point. My understanding is that standards are used just like in any other civil engineering. For example, you don't have to be an engineer to dimension your garage door header beam, unless there is a law requiring It. I am trying to find something simple like that. What have you guys used yourselves?
