I've been building a flight test program based on the FAA Form 90-89A, and I notice they require an aircraft maintenance log to be on board during flight testing. Is anything supposed to be in this log from the beginning or am I just supposed to have an empty template on hand? I imagine a reasonable amount of adjustments will be made to the plane during the flight test program, how can I tell what qualifies as maintenance vs. what would just be considered calibration or set-up work? Is there even a difference?
Thanks, Paul
