Greetings,

Pretty new to the boards here, Aviation enthusiast for many years.

I was searching for lifting body kit planes, and came across the Facetmobile.

(Dont mention the Dyke Delta, it's UGLY!)

Currently I'm back in college working on finishing my Astronomy/Physics Degree.

I've promised myself this plane, or something very, very, very similar to it as my "graduation present"

I do need to get started on this within the next year or so, in order to be able to have the plane finished by graduation.

I've noticed from the Facetmobile home page that the Wainfans have been making slow progress on the project, due to day to day life.

Forum searches have turned up dry.

I'm not entirely sure I want to design a lifting body plane from scratch, but I can handle working from plans or building a kit.

(I'd actually prefer a kit!)

Is the Facetmobile truly unique?

It is very hard to believe that there are NO lifting body aircraft kits on the market.

If I did build from scratch, I'd love to build a small turbine powered version of the Facetmobile in a 2/3 seat configuration. :)
