I have an almost brand new (35 hrs) SeaDoo engine that I picked up for cheap. Its a Rotax BRP 1503 SC IC 215 HP marine engine. Supercharged, Intercooled, and EFI. One heck of a little water-cooled 3-banger. I want to build an airplane around it. I am contemplating building a Waiex, but this engine is too heavy for the little guy. After some drive train and PSRU components I expect this baby to weigh in just under 300 lbs.
Any ideas?
How 'bout a 100% scale Heinkel He 162d with a pusher prop? The 2-seater, glider version with rectangular wings would probably be more suitable.
