I have a Corby Starlet nearly ready for fabric......I am experienced with ceconite, so I'm well aware of its strengths and weaknesses. I like the finish you can get with butyrate dopes, but adhesion can be a problem. I have done very little with Polyfiber, so I would like to know if the claims for ease of use and lightness are well founded.
It would certainly be an advantage to be able to finish the plane with one type of paint.........
( I must say that I am acclimatised to the smell of butyrate thinners but I find the smell of polyfiber thinners a turn-off!).
