Hi, everyone, My name is Rick ( as you may already be aware), I was referred here by a gentleman who already designed and built his own plane. He couldn't answer my questions regarding an idea that I have about building a diesel powered airplane. Most people have no experience with such a thing, hence why I am here. I want to build an airplane with a 7.3l powerstroke Diesel engine. Possibly with twin turbos, now before you mention weight the 7.3 weighs dry at ~900lb., but delivers 210-275hp stock. Many people have easily been able to unlock additional horsepower. One guy turned his up to 700hp. Anyway what are you're thoughts, opinions about this. Thank You!

PS. I value your input regardless of whether or not you know about diesel aircraft.
