For sale: Three TRS-18 turbojet engines. All are in the 220 pound thrust class and come nearly complete with all necessary accessories except the tail pipes, which have to be built custom for the particular installation (current owner will assist buyer in doing this).
One engine has 60 hours, the second 75 hours and the third is unknown. The first two engines came out of BD-5s and the third from a Caproni jet trainer. There are no logs nor any documentation.
There are a few spares, as shown in the picture. These engines are out of production and parts beyond those shown in the picture may be difficult to find, although there is apparently one company (in Arizona I think) that will work and overhaul these as necessary.
These are the original flight worthy engines as produced by Microturbo (not smoke generator conversions).
The owner would like to sell all three in one bundle for $135,000. Although reluctantly, he might sell them separately - one for $45k, and the other two for $35k each. The prices are firm - cash only. No trades.
