Taylor Titch project and O-200A Engine

60% complete Taylor Titch for sale. Work done to date is by a master aviation craftsman. This is the 3rd homebuilt by this craftsman. Two other completed projects were a Maule and Lancair IVP.

Airframe is covered in fabric and most of it painted perfectly in silver without any mottling or blemishes. Purchase includes Taylor Titch plans.

O-200A engine is a complete engine with accessory components. It was purchased in May 2009 from White industries. No engine log. Willing to sell airframe and parts separate from engine.

Asking $5,000 for airframe and parts and $3,500 for engine.

Project is located near Gilroy, CA.

Can I ask what is prompting this sale? Has the builder passed away?

Yes the owner passed away at age 64 from brain cancer.

That's too bad, but it would certainly be a fitting tribute to get this plane flying. The Titch is a lovely plane and this looks like a fantastic deal with or without the engine.

Hi there...am I right in thinking this engine is around 100HP? Do you know anything about it (how good it is etc)? Do you have any paperwork for it at all?

Are there any more photos of the engine itself, and would you be prepared to ship it to New Zealand if I bought it?
