    Lonely for Texas skies!

I see all these fellow Texans on here and it makes me home sick!!LOL. Anyway, I am in the start up stage of designing my plane. It most likley will be in the light sport class seeing that there is not much avaliable in the UL class for a 6'3" 275lb pilot. It is simular to the A-Plane type construction and size, except the fuselage will be triangular, and have an enclosed cabin. It will be powered by a VW 1800. I am also looking at float options. I have already got some good ideas from reading the discussions here on HBA. I am looking foward to your input as I move foward on my project. I will post more info in the days to come.

Howdy from D/FW! Our skies are hot and dry, and you are welcome here any time!

It sounds like you have a worthy project picked out. This is the best place to hang out that a prospective designer could ask for. There is a huge amount of good resources and practical advice here, so use the search function and read the stickies. Ask questions when you need something, and you will be sure to get a good answer.
